Unlike my other works, with Foul Waters the awesome cover art by Waclaw came first. I then based a story around this strange little chap on a boat.

The original idea was then to make the record using only a Roland JX-8P emulator. However I wasn't clever enough to get all the sounds I needed out of it, so I cheated and added in some other sounds. The Roland still takes centre stage though.
